I can hardly believe that this will be my last letter to you all. First and foremost, it has been an honor and pleasure to serve as President of this fine organization for the past 4 years. I am so proud of this organization and the things that we do, but mostly, I’m grateful for the friendships I’ve made, I’m excited about the new programs we put in place, and I know the organization will continue to flourish under the direction of your newly elected President, Mr. Gil Lane. Please support Gil and TMA in any way you can. Your contribution of time and talent will never be taken for granted. I urge you to become active members and continue the great tradition of excellence that is Timberlane music.
On that note (pun intended), I’d like to congratulate
the Class of 2008 – they’ve given us
so many memorable performances. It’s with
mixed emotion that I see these fine students move
on to the “real world,” and pursue their
life dreams. I’ll miss them ALL and thank
them for sharing their laughter, spirit, and especially
their talent. I’d especially like to include
“my girls” from the Disney and New York
City trips. I’ll never forget you.
Due to a schedule conflict, we’ll have to
move the June 18 meeting to Tuesday, July 8th. It
will still be held at 7 Collins Court in Plaistow
at 7 pm. We’ll be discussing band camp and
wrapping up any loose ends. Everyone is invited
– you can contact me at trisha@traynorglass.com
for directions. You may want to bring a lawn chair.
In closing, I’d like to acknowledge the incredible
passion, commitment, and professionalism of the
Music Department staff. Without their hard work
and innovation, this music program would cease to
exist. What a terrible thought! At the risk of repeating
myself, it has been an honor to be associated with
this organization and with these fine educators.
I leave with a sense of pride, knowing that this
program is the finest in the State of New Hampshire
and I’ve been incredibly blessed to be a part
of it.
All the best,
Trisha
