Well, it’s been a great year for Timberlane Music. We had a wonderful trip to Orlando and watched the marching band play while marching down Main Street in Magic Kingdom. We saw concerts of both the Orchestra and Chorus in downtown Disney on the waterfront stage and this just affirmed that we have the best music program for miles around. Just in case you doubt me, what about the pit orchestra for West Side Story? They were flawless, and the music was incredible.

Now we get ready for the last concerts of the season. With these we also have Music Awards night which is always a pleasure to celebrate the achievements of our students. The future is sure to be bright with all of the talented underclassmen that we have waiting in the wings to show their stuff to the directors. There is still much work to do to get ready for these things which also include Graduation. It is a time that we get ready to say goodbye to our Senior’s and send them off to many different colleges around the country.

I would like to say thank you to all of our Senior’s for a fantastic four years of music at Timberlane. I have had the pleasure of personally knowing most of you and I have truly been blessed. You are a wonderful group of young adults that possess many talents and you will be missed.
